About Me In spite of the fact that I would like to write the great American novel, I spend more time writing about grandparent adoption. That's what my life is about. With that, I am now taking on the topic of bullies and have expanded that to take on our school district who does not have a program. We have already talked to the principal and now are taking on the school board. When we are not doing school things, we are all about baseball. Practice is year round, 3 days a week. I do have other interests. One is Elementary School Fundraising and the other is Vintage Travel Trailers. I have two very complete Squidoo lenses on both subjects. I use Squidoo to compile groups of articles on different subjects that are important to me. Vintage Travel Trailers are very popular right now. According to the Tin Can Tourists, the definate authority on the subject, a vintage trailer must be 25 years old or older. My 1959 Dalton fits the guidelines. It is a 15 foot trailer that sleeps 5. I am a purist when it comes to vintage trailers and mine is not restored. That means that the water damage is visible. Elementary School Fundraising is something we do everyday. We are always looking for ways to make money for our school. Our kids do not have field trips or special assemblies without the money we raise. However, our school was blessed this year with a new playground, compliments of Amway and Kaboom. They have a great program for schools and parks. Writing on Triond The Internet and Baby Boomers I also tried some writing at Triond. It was more difficult than Helium and I had to come up with my own titles. I did enjoy writing about the Internet. My Only Published Poem I am not a poet and although I used to write poetry, there are only a few that I would consider sharing. This is one of them. My Momma's Songs This is my only published poem.

My eHow Profile
I originally had 53 article on eHow but had 12 deleted in a mass cleaning. Fluff is not OK. Humor and satire should not be part of a how-to. I am spending much more time on Helium. When I find a how-to with actionable steps that I can write without being silly, I will still write there. The 40 article that remain are making money and every now and then I go back and try to improve them.
